We here at Cajun Paddle Tools believe that you go fishing for two reasons, to have fun and to catch fish. If you have to work to catch fish then you are not having fun. For these reasons we try to produce products that are use and forget. Take our Cajun Pole Anchor for an example. when you are on the flats in Texas, the marshes of Louisiana, the Florida everglades or any place that you fish and need stealth, this little light weight pole anchor is great for holding you in the right spot. If the fish move you can pull up the pole anchor and either use it to pole youself to the fish or just let it float behind your kayak. When you need to stop just set the anchor again. By allowing the pole anchor to float keeps mud or sand out of your boat.

Another one of those items you should not be without, especially if you do a lot of drifting is our Drift Anchor. This handy anchor is great at slowing your drift speed down and your lure in the water longer. The exit end of this anchor is adjustable so you can find that just right drift speed. When this drift anchor is used with a trolly system, the angle of your kayak can be ajusted for your comfort. These are just a few examples of our products that will help you have fun while fishing. Just toss it in or stab it in the mud, forget about it, and fish. |

Cajun pole anchor
Description:
This Cajun pole anchor comes four or five feet long and is constructed of heavy duty polyvinyl chloride plastic with a black vinyl hand grip. The pole is filled with foam and the end of the pole is plugged with a dowel and can be reshaped if necessary. The leash is made from nylon rope and is five feet long with a large loop at the end. The pole anchor works great in all bottom types but is best in muddy or sandy bottoms. The pole anchor floats so that there are no worries about stowing or getting mud in your kayak. The shorter leash is ideal for fishing because there is less of a chance of fowling your line while casting or fighting a fish. The pole anchor can be used to pole your kayak in the shallows while stalking fish. When a fish is spotted, slowly set the pole anchor and fish. When you need to move again pull the pole anchor and continue to stalk fish. The pole anchor can be used with a trolley system to improve fishing angles.
